This 4 unit apartment building on Washington St. is just a few doors away from the Elizabeth Cady Stanton House, a National Park Service Historic Site. It was built in 1869 as a four room school house. The Italianate brick building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was completely restored and renovated by us. It features large rear porches for each apartment, off street parking, in unit washer & dryers, central air, and is pre-wired for internet / cable in every room.
Each apartment has tall ceilings and features the unique architectural attributes of the old school rooms. Each original school room is now a discreet apartment. The second floor units are duplex apartments with their second floor bedrooms having open balconies to the living room below. The large original window openings enhance the light and livability of these spacious apartments. They range in square footage from 800 to 1,200 square feet.
• All our buildings are smoke free environments, there is no smoking allowed on premises.
• Most buildings are under 24 hour video surveillance.
• A number of units are pet friendly, limit one cat per dwelling. A singular small dog may also be accommodated in a limited number of our “pet friendly” units. However, we require an advance interview with any dogs that are to be residents in our buildings and require the tenant with the dog to provide us with a proof of liability insurance naming us as an additional insured.
• We require excellent credit. Minimum credit score to receive an application is 750.
